Making progress at Long Bay Village
There is still a lot happening at The Village - all concrete floors a completed on all buildings and structural steel is well underway.Structural beams have been put in place for the mid-level and top floors for the apartments with the roof moving into place soon.With the structural construction of the buildings almost complete the stunning views of of Long Bay Regional Park and Beach can be seen from the apartments.Construction has just passed the half way point with over 4200 construction hours put in by approximately 100 contractors with completion due in 2019.
The thriving heart of Long Bay
It's been six months since construction started on Long Bay Village.Designed by award-winning firm Architectus, Long Bay Village will have almost everything locals will need, including a large medical centre and chemist, 24-hour gym, retail outlets and hospitality, many with north facing views over the wetlands and extensive new planting.
New World coming to Long Bay Village
Long Bay locals will be delighted to learn that a full service New World supermarket will be joining the already impressive line-up of hospitality and retail stores due to open at Long Bay Village in 2019.Construction of the building that will house New World has already begun.
Earth works at the Long Bay Village site are progressing well with design work continuing on the Village Centre itself.
Beach to Te Oneroa
Earlier this year Beach Road within the development was renamed Te Oneroa Way to avoid confusion with the Beach Road entry in the Long Bay Regional Park.
300 and still growing
With Long Bay now in its seventh year, the development is celebrating a significant milestone – passing the 300 homes mark.
Long Bay Village on track
The Long Bay Village is on track to start construction over the next 12 months to be completed by 2018.
